Refund policy

At Manak Chand Chaudhary, we take immense pride in delivering fresh, hygienically prepared, and premium-quality papads directly to your doorstep. Due to the perishable and food-grade nature of our products, our return and refund policy is strictly limited and applicable only under specific circumstances described in this document.

All sales are considered final unless a valid reason as specified herein is raised within the permitted time window. We strongly encourage customers to review their orders before checkout.

Eligibility for Returns

A return request will be considered only if all of the following conditions are met:

  • The return request is submitted within 24 hours of delivery.
  • The product received is different from what was ordered (wrong item shipped).
  • The product packaging is visibly damaged at the time of delivery, and photographic evidence is provided immediately upon receipt.
  • The product is completely unused, unopened, and in its original sealed packaging.
  • A valid unboxing video is provided as proof of the condition at the time of delivery.

    Not Eligible for Return

    Returns will not be accepted for any of the following reasons:

    • Change of mind or personal preference after purchase.
    • Dislike of taste, flavor, spice level, or texture — as these are subjective to individual preference.
    • Products that have been opened, partially consumed, or tampered with.
    • Orders where the unboxing video or photo proof is not available.
    • Delay in submitting the return request beyond the 24-hour window.
    • Products that have been stored improperly by the customer after delivery.
    • Minor variations in color, shape, or size of papads, which are natural characteristics of handmade food products.

      Shipping Charges on Returns

      Important: Return Shipping is Customer's Responsibility

      Regardless of the reason for return — including cases of wrong item delivery or packaging damage — all return shipping charges must be borne entirely by the customer.

      • Manak Chand Chaudhary will not reimburse or credit any return shipping fees under any circumstances.
      • The customer is responsible for choosing a reliable courier service for the return shipment.
      • The original shipping fee paid at checkout is non-refundable in all cases.
      • If the returned product is lost or damaged in transit while being sent back, Manak Chand Chaudhary will not be held liable, and no refund will be issued.

      We recommend using a tracked courier service for returns, as we cannot be held responsible for returns that do not reach us safely.

      Refund Process & Timeline

      Once a return request is approved and the returned product is received and inspected by our team, a refund decision will be communicated within 5–7 business days. Please note:

      • Refund of the product price only will be considered — original shipping charges paid will not be refunded.
      • Refund requests for partially used products or products without valid proof will be automatically rejected.
      • Bank transfer refunds, where approved, may take an additional 7–10 business days depending on your bank.
      Please note: Manak Chand Chaudhary reserves the right to refuse a refund if, upon inspection, the returned product is found to have been tampered with, consumed, or does not match the condition described in the return request.

      How to Initiate a Return Request

      To begin the return process, follow these steps carefully:

      1. Email us at mchaudharypapadwala@gmail.com within 24 hours of receiving your order.
      2. Use the subject line: "Return Request – Order #[Your Order Number]"
      3. Attach clear photos and an unboxing video showing the issue with the product.
      4. Our team will review your request and respond within 2–3 business days with a decision.
      5. If approved, you will be provided with the return shipping address. Do not ship the product before receiving written approval.
      6. Ship the product in its original packaging using a tracked courier and share the tracking details with us.
      Note: Unapproved returns or products sent without prior written confirmation will not be accepted and will not be eligible for any refund.

      Cancellation Policy

      Orders may be cancelled only within 2 hours of placing the order, provided the order has not yet been dispatched. To cancel, email us immediately at mchaudharypapadwala@gmail.com with your order number.

      • Once the order is dispatched, cancellation is not possible under any circumstances.
      • Approved cancellations will receive a full product refund as store credit. The original payment gateway/transaction charges (if any) will be deducted.
      • Manak Chand Chaudhary reserves the right to cancel any order due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent activity, with a full refund issued to the customer.

      Limitation of Liability

      Manak Chand Chaudhary shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the purchase, use, or inability to use our products. Our maximum liability, in any case, is limited to the value of the product purchased.
